We successfully led the Mombasa International Cultural Festival, known as TUKUTANE MOMBASA, from its inception to its final edition in 2016. Organized by the Mombasa County Government, the festival grew from a two-day event into a vibrant 10-day celebration, attracting over 40,000 attendees.
The festival was a strategic initiative to rejuvenate the tourism sector, which had been significantly impacted by violent extremism in 2013. Through cultural showcase and community engagement, the campaign brought renewed energy to the region, positioning Mombasa as a dynamic cultural and tourism hub.
